Itinerary

We depart Edinburgh and make our way to the ancient Scottish capital of Stirling, where the skyline is dominated by the castle and the iconic Wallace Monument*; the area where William Wallace led Scotland to victory at the Battle of Stirling Bridge.

We drive through Scotland’s scenic landscapes, venturing further into the Highlands before stopping at one of Scotland’s famous whisky distilleries.

After reviving ourselves with a wee dram of the ‘water of life’, we head to the Hermitage in the heart of Perthshire and take a short woodland walk.

Our return journey visits the charming village of Dunkeld, in Macbeth country, where a stunning cathedral sits beautifully by the banks of the River Tay. On our return to Edinburgh, we pass the iconic Forth Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, arriving back into the city at around 5.15pm.

*From the 1st of April 2023, we will no longer stop at the Wallace Monument. Instead, we will visit the Kelpies monument.
